Message from our founder

When you get workplace culture right, you build a stronger, more loyal workforce. That isn't just the right thing to do, it's simply good business.
Managing workplace incidents and being aware of your team's culture is a constant challenge in an ever changing landscape
A safe team is a productive one, when people feel protected, the financial returns follow naturally. Looking after your people is one of the most critical investments you can make.
With Salus, named after the Roman Goddess of health, safety and welfare, you can move away from messy, splintered systems. We’ve built an intelligent system for everything from team culture to incident management.
It’s designed to foster a genuine culture of trust and reporting, backed by automated tools that help you resolve issues faster.
Essentially, Salus gives you the clear insights you need into wellbeing and compliance, making it easier to lead with confidence.
Andy Curren is an Australian founder with nearly 40 years of experience building businesses, long before “startup” became a job title. He started his first company at 23 and has since launched and scaled multiple successful ventures, including, most recently, a large-scale social and environmental project in Indonesia that grew to over 1,000 employees in 3 years and removed more than 50,000 tonnes of unmanaged waste from the environment in local communities.
He’s always believed great businesses are built on strong, supported teams and he’s the first to admit he hasn’t always got everything right. Managing people, culture, compliance, and complex issues like mental health, employee wellbeing and workplace behaviour is rarely simple and it’s only getting trickier as laws, expectations, and generational attitudes evolve.
That experience led Andrew to start Safe Work Tech and its AI-powered engine, Salus - designed to reduce HR burden, improve psychosocial safety, and help employees speak up without fear. He combines practical leadership, human-first thinking with a simple belief: healthier workplaces build better businesses.
